Margarita’s Latin Soul Food, located at 655 NY-318, Waterloo, NY, is a hidden gem that has garnered rave reviews from patrons who appreciate its vibrant flavors and welcoming atmosphere. Customers consistently praise the friendliness of the service and the generous portions at reasonable prices. Diners have highlighted standout dishes such as the pulled pork, which is touted for its juiciness and perfect seasoning, making sauces unnecessary.
The mac and cheese is another favorite, described as the best many have encountered at a restaurant—rich, cheesy, and full of flavor. The cornbread is a delightful surprise, likened to dessert in its sweetness. Furthermore, guests have revelled in the fried chicken, which is deliciously juicy on the inside and crisp outside, making every minute of the wait worthwhile.

The food is amazing! The man was also nice enough to let me try their other sides, chicken, and pork. The yams were so good and next time I will definitely get the stew chicken! This place needs to be in their own restaurant space or even a local food truck!

We were at the outlets for some quick shopping and we needed a bite and typically this isn't my kind of food because usually I find it very dry but I was more than pleased with our choice. The pulled pork didn't need any sauce to give it flavor because it was juice and seasoned just right. The rice again was nice and moist and seasoned perfectly. The corn bread was like dessert instead of a side and I say that as a great thing. It didn't send me running for a drink. The Mac and cheese was amazing. This place is definitely to good for that lame food court! She needs a food truck and she couldale a.killing with awesome food!!

Extremely friendly family owned business. Food is out of this world good. Mac and cheese is the best I've had out at a restaurant. The fried chicken might be a wait, but worth every minute of the wait to get fresh fried goodness. Juicy on the inside but crispy snd flavorful on the outside! Corn bread is phenomenal. Had the strawberry cake tonight and it was so moist, flavorful and not overly sweet! Give these guys a try, you wont be disappointed!

We stopped to charge the car and decided to grab lunch. We thought we would have to settle for fast food, but we were pleasantly surprised. The owner was there and showing us what they had to offer and telling us how it was all homemade. Each tray of food looked better than the last. We decided to get some empanadas, Mac n cheese, plantains, and cornbread to split along with some food from one of the other restaurants at the food court. It was all fantastic! The empanadas had a great proportion between meat and dough and were not too greasy, the mac n cheese was very cheesy and flavorful, the plantains were perfect and freshly made, and the cornbread was a little on the sweet side but in a good way. If we're here again, we plan to try the pulled pork. We were so happy that we tried this place; it was completely worth it.

Had to stop and get some food after I stopped at the casino, and this place popped up. I got the pulled pork plater, the pork is super tender, has a lot of flavor the Spanish rice is phenomenal. Mac and cheese is good as well. I have to say a little salty on the pork, and a little peppery on the mac and cheese for me personally but this place deserves the 5 stars because it’s all from scratch made and has a lot of soul in everything they do. 32 dollars was the total for two platters with a water personally for what you get worth it and cheaper than a McDonalds meal and has more flavor
